The battle for Osun State has been decided. Governor Ademola Adeleke has secured a second term after defeating APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji in the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
The result was not simply about the statewide vote. Adeleke carried 19 of Osun’s 30 local government areas, while Oyebamiji won 11. The figures emerged from the final collation of results by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osogbo.
