Reports that reality star Tacha has been arrested are still unverified. As of Monday morning, her manager said he had been unable to contact her.
The claim began circulating after reports alleged that the Big Brother Naija star had been taken from her home in Ajah, Lagos.
When contacted by P.M. NEWS, Tacha’s manager declined to confirm the reported arrest.
“I can’t confirm her arrest. I’ve also been trying to reach her.”
Where the arrest claim came from
Film producer and Best of Nollywood CEO Seun Oloketuyi raised the allegation in an Instagram post on Sunday.
According to Oloketuyi, the Nigeria Police Force had invited Tacha on three occasions between May and August 2026. He alleged that she did not respond to the invitations and was subsequently arrested at her Ajah residence.
He also linked the alleged invitations to the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NCCC).
However, those claims have not been independently verified.
What remains unclear
Several important details are yet to be established:
- Whether Tacha was actually arrested.
- Why she was allegedly invited by the police.
- Whether the reported invitations came from the NCCC.
- What, if any, matter prompted the alleged police action.
Until authorities or Tacha’s representatives provide confirmation, the arrest report remains an allegation rather than an established fact.
Who is Tacha?
Tacha became widely known after appearing on Big Brother Naija and has since built a career as a social media personality and entrepreneur, with interests spanning entertainment and beauty.
More recently, she spoke about the impact of her late mother on her life and career, remembering her as a hardworking and prayerful woman.
For now, the key question remains unanswered: has Tacha actually been arrested? No independent confirmation was available at the time of reporting.
