Applicants shortlisted for Nigeria’s four paramilitary services have been directed to check the CDCFIB recruitment portal for their oral interview details.
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has instructed candidates who passed the latest physical and medical screening to visit its official recruitment portal and confirm whether they have been selected for the final oral interview stage.
The recruitment exercise covers four agencies under the Ministry of Interior:
- Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS)
- Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
- Federal Fire Service (FFS)
- Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
The board’s Secretary, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril, announced the development in a statement issued Saturday in Abuja.
Graduate Applicants: Check From Monday
According to Jubril, the CDCFIB has completed its assessment and shortlisting process.
Candidates who applied under the Graduate Category are required to log on to the official recruitment portal between Monday and Wednesday to check their status, confirm their qualification and access their invitation letter where applicable.

NCE, OND and SSCE Applicants
Applicants who submitted NCE, OND or SSCE qualifications have a separate verification window.
They are expected to check the same portal from September 7 to September 9, 2026 to determine whether they have been shortlisted for the oral interview.
What Shortlisted Candidates Must Do
Candidates who make the final list will be required to use the portal to:
- Select a venue closest to them
- Choose an available interview date
- Select a time
- Download and print their invitation letter
Applicants must also follow the dress code specified in their invitation letters.
The board warned that only candidates who have been shortlisted for the final exercise will be allowed into the interview venues.
Beware of Recruitment Scams
The CDCFIB issued a strong warning about fraudulent recruitment messages.
Jubril said the board does not send recruitment emails and advised applicants to rely exclusively on the official portal and the board’s recognised communication channels.
The recruitment process, he reiterated, is free of charge.
Anyone asking applicants for money in exchange for employment should be treated as a fraudster and reported to the nearest security agency or appropriate authority.
